We are currently looking for a new colleague to join the position of General Manager Used Equipment & Rental at Hitachi Construction Machinery headquarter in Amsterdam.

Working hours: 40 Hours
Languages: native/fluent English
 
What you will be doing
  • Development of overall strategy and its annual growth plans and budgets
  • Align Used Equipment & Rental strategy with HCM & HCME strategy
  • Full ownership and management of Rent-2-Rent (R2R) program within the European dealer network
  • Forecast and manage used equipment sales through our dealer network and alternative channels in Europe
  • Develop, re-launch and manage Hitachi Premium Used program within Europe
  • Create financial rental solutions together with third parties to support dealers’ rental initiatives
  • Development of dealer Used Equipment & Rental Competency Plan: set quantifiable KPIs for dealer engagement, sales, profit, budget and inventory. In line with Sales Account Management (AM) creating the dealer business plans.
  • Get R2R program fully embedded into the HCME proposition towards Dealers (align with AM strategy per dealer)

What you will need to succeed
  • Proven work experience as an (General) Manager or in a similar role
  • Coach and manage your team to ensure success for both dealer and HCME
  • Develop and implement appropriate training and qualification of staff members
  • Create enthusiasm & openness in the department for newly discovered, qualified and developed initiatives
  • Being able to communicate with, present to and influence internal as well as external key stakeholders at all levels of the organization.
  • HBO-Bachelor/Master degree in Business Studies / Business Administration
