We are currently looking for a new colleague to join the position of Manager Account Management at Hitachi Construction Machinery headquarter in Amsterdam.

Working hours: 40 Hours
Languages: native/fluent English
 
Goal

The goal of the Manager Account Management is to effectively lead the team of Account Managers who are responsible to oversee a portfolio of assigned dealers, based on HCME’s Dealer Centric Approach: Create enthusiasm & openness for new initiatives (Inspiration), drive efficient achievement of results & dealer/customer satisfaction by supporting the dealer (Performance), reach aspired targets through monitoring progress on mutual agreed Business Plan (Accountability), involve all stakeholders actively in all aspects of the dealer’s business and markets (Engagement).

What you will be doing
  • Creates and manages the departmental budget and expenses in line with best practices
  • Defines a high-level vision for the sales organization and develop strategies to meet those goals
  • Professional dealer network management, with team responsibility for relationship with “independent” dealer network.
  • Follow up the process of the aging inventory and proposes actions to Account management
  • Manages and coordinate developments on ERP usage and improve reporting
  • Manages and coordinates developments for CRM system
  • Lead team of Sales Account Managers and develop their skills and competences.
  • Develop strong and trusted relationships with independent dealers network
  • Liaise with internal teams to get your dealers matters across


What you will need to succeed
  • Proven work experience as a Manager Sales (Account management / Operations )or in a similar role
  • Being able to communicate with, present to and influence internal as well as external key stakeholders at all levels of the organization
  • Experience with MS Office and its programs
  • Excellent listening, analytical and presentation skills
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills in English and preferably in a second or third language
  • Bachelor-Master: Business economics and-or administration / Sales Operations / Supply chain / Logistics
