We are currently looking for a new colleague to join the position of General Manager Product Support & Spare Parts at Hitachi Construction Machinery Europe headquarter in Amsterdam.

Department: Product Support & Spare Parts
Experience: 5+ years in similar role
Working hours: Full-time
Languages: native/fluent English

What you will be doing
• Responsible for the budget and business plan
• Communicate within the department about the yearly targets, responsibilities and duties of the Business Unit
• To ensure that the business is operated to the highest standards in line with the mission statement
• and values of the company
• In cooperation with HCM and other parts depots roll out current global distribution models and work on further enhancements.
• Development of new distribution methods to internal & external clients, to reduce the stock level with best availability and minimum transportation cost.
• Develop and implement efficient & effective sales management strategies
• Development of new service tools and service packages based on dealers and end-users requirements in close cooperation with HCM Japan
• Responsible for the day to day operation
• Give instructions, advice and individual coaching
• Divide/delegate tasks
• Monitor quality and progression of activities

What you will need to succeed
• BSc, BEng or MSc degree
• Native/fluent English
• Good time management, ability to multitask, prioritize and meet deadlines
• Being driven by results and performance
• Strong communication, analytical and leadership skills
• Willingness and ability to travel on a regular basis
