We are currently looking for a new colleague to join the position of System Configuration Engineer at Hitachi Construction Machinery Europe headquarter in Amsterdam.

What you will be doing?

• Execution of approved projects and ensuring the different departments implement the agreed ways of working
• Keeping standards and ways of working up to date
• Being responsible for the correct setup and input of the information (BOM, Configurator, Routing, Material Master) in the MRP system
• Reporting to and advising the Manager in a timely manner about corrective measures in the event of delays
• Advising the Manager about requests and sales requests received for new specifications

What you will need to succeed?

• 3+ years of experience in similar role
• Knowledge and experience in SAP Variant Configuration
• General understanding of SAP (Reporting, Transaction Codes, Bill of Material, Engineering Change of Management)
• Engineering background
• Experience in production area
• Knowledge of engineering documentation
• Microsoft Office – especially proficiency in Excel
• English – fluent in writing and speaking
