We are currently looking for a new colleague to join the position of Product Specialist Excavators at Hitachi Construction Machinery Europe headquarter in Amsterdam.

What you will be doing

Market Analysis
•    Study market trends and ensure the marketability of products
•    Research competitors business structure
•    Research machines of competitors
•    Work out competitor comparison tests, make competitor comparison documents
•    Create feedback documents and reports with the market needs

Sales
•    Support Product Manager in creating sales manuals
•    Provide technical expertise by preparing product trainings and workshops

Product Developments
•    Collect product/market data and provide new material to the Development Centers

Support
•    Handle application (attachment) issues
•    Support and follow-up user-test models issues to ensure customer satisfaction

What you will need to succeed
•    Ideally 3 years in similar position
•    MBO or similar level mechanical engineering
•    Experience in a mechanical or technical area related to construction machinery
•    Product Management background and/or Marketing skills would be a benefit
•    Good knowledge of English language (spoken and written). An additional European language would be a benefit (German)
•    Willing to work in a team (teamplayer)
•    Travelling within Netherlands. Occasionally travelling in Europe to dealers, customers and suppliers
