Your Mission

As a Senior Buyer, you will be at the heart of the procurement department. You will collaborate and support the category managers to achieve the best possible procurement at the best possible rate within the value limits set by management, resulting in a higher customer satisfaction and sales.

What You’ll Be Doing

  • Acting  as a linking pin between Category management and Purchasing/ordering
  • Executing the category strategy, always aiming to optimize the assortment, manage costs, and strengthen supplier relationships.
  • Internal stakeholders’ management: cross-functional alignment with assembly, quality etc
  • Cost and lead time reductions – localization of parts (currently coming from Asia)
  • Delivery hinderances, capacity, drawing deviations, request for data, queries, warehouse concerns, new project exploration, hunt for potential suppliers
  • Sourcing parts – collaboration with engineers both from internal as also external (supplier)
  • Regular price updates based on agreement - Annual, quarter or due to inflation
  • Investigating the reason behind blocked invoices in the system; seeking suppliers for explanation;
  • requesting authorized person for releasing the invoices

Who are we looking for:

  • A driven and independent Buyer with excellent communication skills and a strong analytical mindset.
  • You are excellent at building lasting partnerships with suppliers while keeping a sharp eye on cost efficiency. You are results-oriented and can easily collaborate with a wide range of internal and external stakeholders. Collaboration is key for you — you connect people and bring them along with your plans.

  • 5+ of experience in a similar role.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • A self-starting and proactive work approach
  • Strong analytical skills and a data-driven mindset
  • Experience in supplier management and cost optimization
  • A true team player who engages effectively with all stakeholders

What We Offer

  • Compensation built of a yearly gross salary between 52’000 euros and 80’000 euros (including holiday allowance and based on experience) + a guaranteed bonus (4%)
