Your Mission

The Internal Communication Specialist is responsible for developing, executing, and maintaining effective internal communication across HCME. The role ensures that employees are informed, engaged, and aligned with HCME’s strategic goals, organizational changes, and company culture. The specialist also plays a key role in supporting the upcoming brand name change to LANDCROS, working closely with the Brand Manager and the Director Marketing & Brand Communication.

What You’ll Be Doing

Internal Communication Strategy & Planning

  • Develop and implement an integrated internal communication strategy that supports HCME’s business objectives and cultural goals.

  • Create annual communication plans, campaigns, and themes to enhance employee engagement and alignment.

  • Ensure consistent messaging, tone of voice, and branding across all internal communication channels.

  • Manages the internal information received from stakeholders to be diffused to all employees.

Brand Change Communication (LANDCROS)

  • Co-lead all internal communication activities related to the upcoming brand change.

  • Work in close collaboration with the Director Marketing & Brand Communication, Brand Manager and PR&Communications Manager to develop communication materials, timelines, key messages, and internal activation campaigns.

  • Prepare employees for the transition, ensuring clarity, transparency, and strong engagement throughout the change process.

Content Creation & Distribution

  • Write, edit, and publish internal communication content, including newsletters, intranet updates, announcements, presentations, and leadership messages.

  • Support leadership with communication materials such as talking points, speeches, and Q&A documents for internal communication.

HR, Employer Branding & Recruitment Communication

  • Support HR projects and initiatives through effective internal communication, including employer branding, talent recruitment, onboarding, and people development initiatives.

  • Develop and deliver internal communication that strengthens HCME’s employer value proposition and supports the attraction, engagement, and retention of talent.

  • Collaborate closely with HR on recruitment-related communication, ensuring consistent messaging towards employees and (potential) candidates in line with the LANDCROS brand and overall people strategy.

  • Support internal activation of employer branding campaigns, HR programs, and talent initiatives through appropriate channels and storytelling.

  • Ensure alignment between HR communication, internal culture, and external employer branding efforts where applicable.

Internal Communication Channels & Recurring Communication
Manage and maintain key communication channels, including:

  • Monthly Information Sharing Meeting for managers and above (agenda, briefings, content, follow-up).

  • Monthly employee newsletter (content planning, writing, coordination with departments).

  • SharePoint intranet (updating, restructuring, improving usability).

  • Internal memo boards and digital signage across HCME sites.

  • Monitor channel performance and propose improvements based on employee feedback and analytics.

Change & Project Communication

  • Advise project teams and business leaders on communication strategies related to organizational changes, transformation initiatives, and improvement programs.

  • Develop tailored communication plans ensuring clarity, employee understanding, and high adoption.

Employee Engagement & Culture

  • Support company-wide engagement activities, including town halls, leadership meetings, recognition initiatives, and cultural programs.

  • Gather and interpret employee feedback to support continuous improvement of communication practices.

Stakeholder Management

  • Collaborate closely with HR, Marketing, IT, Leadership Teams, and department heads to ensure aligned and timely communication.

  • Act as a point of contact for internal communication questions and requests across the organization.

 

What You Bring

  • 3+ years of experience in a similar role

  • Fluent in both Dutch and English (spoken and written)

  • A creative mindset with strong communication skills

  • Compensation built of a yearly gross salary between 45’000 euros and 62’000 euros (including holiday allowance and based on experience) + a guaranteed bonus (4%)
