We are currently looking for a new colleague to join the position of Product Manager Special Applications and New Technologies at Hitachi Construction Machinery Europe headquarter in Amsterdam.

The goal of this role is to liaise with Internal departments, Dealers and Product Design Centres to identify and effectively bring to market new products and product improvements necessary to support sales and market share targets throughout the complete product lifecycle.

What you will be doing

-    Conducting portfolio management and investigating the future market opportunities
-    Establishing and agreeing on the marketing plans by territory with the Account Managers
-    Arranging and carrying out market surveys as required to support new product development
-    Ensuring all product changes are introduced effectively to the sales network
-    Following closely and being actively involved in the new model introduction based on the Optimal Product Process from start to finish
-    Creating sales training material by including product highlights and comparison analysis
-    Initiating and performing product training if required

What you will need to succeed

-    BSc, BEng or MSc degree (preferably Engineering field) 
-    Native/fluent English, nice to have German language
-    Good presentation and communication skills
-    Previous experience within Product Management field will be an advantage
