Manager Retail Rental NL
Location: Amsterdam

The role:

As a Manager Retail Rental you are responsible for the effective management and optimization of rental activities within Retail Rental in the Netherlands, including the startup phase. The Manager Retail Rental is responsible for achieving business objectives by ensuring the efficient management of the rental fleet and maximizing customer satisfaction within the guidelines of the distribution agreement and the policy and company budgets made by HCME.

The responsibilities:

• Develop and establish Hitachi Rental business in the Netherlands in line with HCME strategy

• Leading a team of approx. 4-8 employees (to be build)

• Manage and oversee all short term (< 1 year) rental activities within HCME for the market in the Netherlands

• Reach the scheduled sales and rental targets

• Keep a close watch on the market. (Following economic situation, demand, trends, developments competition etc.)

• Support and guide employees where necessary

• Make organization and strategy in order to get a higher customer satisfaction rates

Who are we looking for:

• Proven track record in managing Rental equipment, preferably short term rental

• Fluent knowledge of Dutch and English language

• Strong entrepreneurial mindset and ability to take initiative

• Love to work within a team environment

• Ability to build a customer focussed team from zero.

• Guidance the new department form the start-up phase.
