The team:
The team of “Credit Control & Treasury” consists of three people: one manager and two credit controllers – one of which acts as assistant manager. The department is part of the Finance & Accounting organization within HCME (currently 16 fte). The Credit Control team has an informal culture and the team members work together in performing the daily and weekly tasks. All team members have a hands-on approach and can perform activities like processing bank mutations, report on AR and open items, communication with customers, report on the cash-flow and play their part in the monthly closing process.    

The role:

The Manager Credit Control & Treasury is responsible for the support of sales activities of HCME with active credit management, hereby minimizing a credit loss with appropriate credit risk management. Ensures monitoring, planning, and managing cash flow and treasury activities to fund business activities in a manner consistent with company’s business objectives. 

The responsibilities:
 
  • Managing a team of finance professionals
  • Oversees the process of cash flow management and treasury activities
  • Supports business lines with regards to treasury activities, during investments and financing, and provision of interest rate quotas.
  • Formulation of the company's credit policy to mitigate unnecessary risk
  • Prospect evaluation 
  • To oversee all the integrated risk management tools and to ensure the data quality and timeliness of the production of the credit reports.
  • Analyse operational systems, processes and identify opportunities for improvement

Who are we looking for:
  • BSc or MSc in Financial studies
  • Min. 3 years in a similar role
  • Fluent English and preferably Dutch
  • Good communication and influencing skills, style flexibility, negotiation skills and hands-on/can do mentality
  • Leadership qualities both in people as in the process
  • Accurate and service minded attitude.
