Customization Engineer
Location: Amsterdam

The role:

Translate customer requirements regarding Customization of machines into technical solutions which can be executed in the HCME factory. This starts with the customer requirement and ends with full implementation within the manufacturing process, with all associated logistics and documentation, certification and QA approval.
 

The responsibilities:

• Translating customer requirements regarding Customization of machines into technical solutions which can be executed in the HCME factory

• Proactive research and development to deliver a successful implementation within the manufacturing process

• Being involved in whole implementation process containing setting milestones, procurement, prototype construction, approvals, sales etc.

• Designing and developing using 3D software

• Preparing and maintaining a Technical Documentation File of the solution

• Consulting ideas and cross collaboration with relevant departments 

Who are we looking for:

• BSc, BEng or MSc degree (preferably technical field) 

• At least 3 years’ experience (Industry: Construction machinery / Automotive / Customization Building porotypes and mass production or other relevant)

• Fluent English

• Experience with 2D/3D modelling

• Knowledge of hydraulic and electrical equipment

• Team player with can-do approach and engagement in the team’s success

• Very good communication and presentation skills
