Your Mission
As a Product Support Engineer for the Italian market, you will play a central role in ensuring dealer and customer satisfaction. Your expertise will drive the quality of our technical support, field assistance, and warranty decisions—helping elevate machine performance, strengthen customer confidence, and reinforce Hitachi’s reputation for excellence.
You will work closely with cross-functional teams and operate as a trusted bridge between HCME, our dealers, and our customers.
What You’ll Be Doing

Deliver high-level technical support to dealers across Italy, handling inquiries with clarity and precision.

Diagnose and troubleshoot complex issues while guiding dealers and Sales teams with timely and accurate solutions.

Provide technical training on existing and new products for dealers, end-users, and internal teams.

Evaluate, analyze, and settle warranty claims from multiple territories.

Communicate updates on new products and coordinate technical modifications when needed.

Offer structured feedback to the factory to support future product enhancements.

Conduct occasional on-site field support when required.

Travel regularly between Bologna, Amsterdam, and—when needed—our global headquarters in Japan.
What You Bring
-
Engineering background (Mechanical, Mechatronics, or similar).

Strong communication skills and a genuine desire to support customers.

Professional proficiency in Italian and English.

Availability for occasional travel across Europe and to Japan.
Nice to Have
-
Experience with hydraulic systems, combustion engines, or electrical powertrains.

Familiarity with warranty processes and managing/supporting a European dealer network.
