We are currently looking for a new colleague to join the position of Senior Finance Analyst at Hitachi Construction Machinery headquarter in Amsterdam.

Experience: 8+ years
Working hours: Full-time
Languages: native/fluent English

What you will be doing
  • Oversee accurate and appropriate recording and analysis of revenue and expenses.
  • Prepare procedures and calculations regarding periodical provisions.
  • Resolve accounting discrepancies and irregularities.
  • Analyse financial information to evaluate and make recommendation to senior management to improve business operations.
  • Prepare the monthly report on the overall business operation (GOIS) to HCM.
  • Monthly financial management reports (inventory, sales, expense budget report) supported by automated reporting system.
  • Continuous assistance in preparing budget and forecast.
  • Analyse the P&L, Balance sheet, Sales, Inventory (actuals vs budgets resp forecast).
  • Prepare and participate in the financial reviews.
  • Design and co-develop financial information and reporting.
  • Participate in further development of the BI system.
  • Resolve accounting discrepancies by designing or adjusting internal procedures.
  • Participate in further development of the ERP system.
  • Perform activities for SOX controls as coordinator and tester.
  • Preparation and coordination of the internal and external audit process.
What you will need to succeed
  • BSc, BEng or MSc in Financial Study
  • Native/fluent English
  • Good time management, ability to multitask, prioritise and meet deadlines
  • Being driven by results and performance
  • Strong communication and analytical
