We are currently looking for a new colleague to join the position of Account Manager Rental at Hitachi Construction Machinery headquarter in Amsterdam.
 
Department: Used Equipment & Rental
Experience: Min. 4 years
Working hours: 32 – 40 Hours
Languages: native/fluent English
 
What you will be doing
  •    Achieve agreed business plan targets with assigned dealers.
  •    Manage and improve profitability of the product portfolio.
  •    Monitor progress and pro-actively adjust plans and forecasts in conjunction with stakeholders.
  •    Report to the (G)Manager Rental & Used about the progress and evaluation of the yearly targets.
  • Provide strategic direction on Rental that supports the dealer to win his market
  • Single point of contact for dealers for all strategic Rental matters
  • Ensure that dealer concerns, questions and issues are properly handled
  • Work together with the dealers to create an annual business plan using the HCME format
  • Proactively follow up Quotation requests
  • Drive efficient achievement of results & dealer/customer satisfaction
  • Establish together with your dealers the budget and business plan for the upcoming year.
  • Coordinate with other departments to meet dealers’ requirements.
  • Make Rental quotations and deals with Dealers
What you will need to succeed
  • Proven work experience as an (Sales/Rental) Account Manager or in a similar role
  • Being able to communicate with, present to and influence internal as well as external key stakeholders at all levels of the organization.
  • Proven experience with MS Office and its programs
  • Excellent listening, negotiation and presentation skills
  • Commercial mindset with customer interest first mentality backed up with organizational awareness and analytical skills
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills in English and preferably in a second or third language
  • Knowledge of Finance and financial solutions (Leasing)
  • HBO-Bachelor+ degree in Business Studies / Business Administration
