We are currently looking for a new colleague to join the position of Senior Training & Development Coordinator HCME Academy at Hitachi Construction Machinery headquarter in Amsterdam.

Department: Human Resources
Experience: At least 5 years in similar role
Working hours: Full-time
Languages: Native Dutch and fluent English

What you will be doing
  • Provide input for future HR strategy and programs related to training and (career) development.
  • Makes an inventory of generic company training needs and translates this into training programs, policies and programs, based on company strategy.
  • Work closely and in collaboration with various departmental managers and employees in identifying and developing unique and effective training solutions specific to the different departments.
  • Implement and execute individual or group learning/coaching programs initiatives.
  • Coordinates several standard training processes (like onboarding) to secure compliance with external and internal guidelines.
  • Act as purchaser & liaise with external training providers, dealers, and A+O fund Metalektro.
  • Responsible for securing all possible subsidies/external funding.
  • Create & Deliver e-learning courses workshops, and other trainings in the broadest sense.
  • Acts as superuser for the learning platform.
  • Work closely with technical trainers and back-office administrator of the HCME Academy and training department of the Career Development Centre in Japan.
What you will need to succeed
  • BSc or MSc (preferably in psychology or applied psychology)
  • Native Dutch and fluent English (requirement)
  • Background in multicultural/multinational Sales & Production environment
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in similar role, (10+ years is a plus)  
  • Experienced in creating training programs and E-learning software (experience with Articulate RISE elearning software is a plus)
  • Good communication and influencing skills, style flexibility, tactical/analytical and hands-on/can do mentality
  • Experience working with several testing methodologies (like OPQ and DISC).
  • Accurate and service minded attitude.
