We are currently looking for a new colleague to join the position of Customization Engineer at Hitachi Construction Machinery headquarter in Amsterdam. 

Department: Factory Engineering 
Experience: Min. 3 years
Working hours: Full-time
Languages: native/fluent English

What you will be doing

-    Translating customer requirements regarding Customization of machines into technical solutions which can be executed in the HCME factory
-    Designing and developing using 3D software
-    Analysing the machine market to deliver quality solutions in a timely manner
-    Preparing and maintaining a Technical Documentation File of the solution
-    Being involved in whole implementation process containing setting milestones, procurement, prototype construction, approvals, sales etc.
-    Analysing the risk, logistics, technical requirements, costs to deliver a successful implementation within the manufacturing process
-    Consulting ideas with relevant departments 

What you will need to succeed

-    BSc, BEng or MSc degree (preferably technical field) 
-    Native/fluent English
-    Experience with 2D/3D modeling 
-    Good time management, ability to multitask, prioritize and meet deadlines 
-    Strong communication, analytical and problem-solving skills
