We are currently looking for a new colleague to join the position of Product Support Engineer at Hitachi Construction Machinery Europe headquarter in Amsterdam.

Department: Product Support (Sales and Services)
Working hours: Full-time
Languages:  English (work proficiency)

What you will be doing
  • Providing key technical support to the dealers, handling technical correspondence, supporting or assistance;
  • Providing occasional field support (upon request),
  • Giving instructions on new products
  • Troubleshooting and corresponding on technical questions or inquiries from dealers and Sales dept.
  • Coordinate modifications;
  • Analysis and settlement of the warranty claims from the dealers in different territories;
  • Sales/technical training for current/new models to dealers, users and employees;
  • Technical information feed-back to factory for the future products improvement;

We could be great match for each other if:
  • Engineering background
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills with a passion for working with customers (dealers); 
  • Working proficiency in English (any other European language is a plus);
  • Willingness for occasional travels (Europe, Japan);
  • Knowledge and experience with hydraulic system or combustion (or electrical) engines is a plus;
  • Knowledge and experience with warranty process and handling European dealer network is a plus;
