We are currently looking for the best talent to join our Mining Product Support Team at Hitachi Construction Machinery Europe in Amsterdam.

The goal of the role of Mining Technical Support Engineer is to provide expert technical guidance and support to our dealers and customers, ensuring the optimal performance and reliability of our mining equipment.

What will be your responsibilities

•    Technical support and troubleshooting guidance to customers and dealers
•    Contribute to enhance product reliability and customer satisfaction overall. 
•    Active participation in the assembly and commissioning of mining machines.
•    Ensure the machines meet operational standards for efficiency and safety.
•    Engage in filed trouble shooting activities with dealers’ technicians.
•    Initiate immediate problem solving activities and escalate issues. 
•    Analyse and resolve claims in collaboration with dealers. 
•    The role includes frequent business trips and working onsite with the dealers. Also, required frequent presence in HCME office in Amsterdam. 

What you will need to succeed

•    3+ years of experience in a similar role. 
•    Expertise in mining equipment sector.
•    Experience and knowledge with mining machinery. 
•    A degree in Mechanical Engineering or related technical field.
•    Proficient English, excellent verbal and written communication skills.
•    Technical and analytical skills,  experience in using diagnostic tools and software relevant to mining machinery.
•    Customer service orientation.
